Ethernet PT100 Temperature Sensor Gateway (Modbus TCP)
Product description
SIG-5560 is a temperature gateway that reads the temperature value from a resistance temperature detector PT100 and sends it via Ethernet/internet using Modbus TCP protocol.
You can remotely read the temperature by using any kind of Modbus Software/Apps or HMI devices. You can also configure thresholds to make it trigger another Modbus TCP device (e.g. CIE-H12A) that has digital output ports. It is described in this application note.
ModMap is a free software and a smartphone app, which can connect to devices and read the temperature.
SIG-5560 device supports PT100 sensors that have a measurement range of -200°C to +850°C. A PT100 sensor is not included.
The 3-digit 7-segment LED displays the temperature.
SIG-5560 requires a 5V power supply (not included, see related products below).
